Terry M. Button, Ph.D. Dr. Button co-invented the Type II Diabetes Prevention Module and Hypertension Prevention Module (scheduled for release in 2018) and established the company. While Dr. Button has owned and operated two successful businesses for nearly 30 years, he is primarily known for his leadership as a University Professor. In this capacity, he established a Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Educational Programs (CAMPEP), accredited graduate program (M.S. and Ph.D.) and an accredited Imaging Physics residency at Stony Brook University. He has successfully overseen the use of ionizing radiations as the Chair of the Hospital Radiation Safety Committee and the Chair of the University Radiation Protection Committee for more than a decade. On a national level, he has chaired the American Board of Medical Physics Examination in MRI for nearly a decade. He has served as PI on several successfully funded research studies and has been an advisor to almost 70 residents, fellows, and graduate students. He was instrumental in establishing undergraduate degree programs in radiologic technology and nuclear medicine technology as well as certificate programs in CT and MRI technology at the University. Additionally, Dr. Button has been given numerous awards for excellence in education including the prestigious SUNY Chancellors Award for excellence in teaching. Since the focus of these modules is educational in nature, he is the ideal leader for product development.
